Hugo, the Surfing Hippo

Meet Hugo, the surfing crochet hippopotamus! At just 14 cm tall (about the size of your hand), Hugo shows a huge love for surfing and the beach. The button-joints ensure that he can skillfully move through every wave coming along. A retro swimsuit and small flowers add to a fashionable beach look. This little guy may be small, but he’s got a big personality and an even bigger love for the surf.

This detailed crochet pattern will guide you step-by-step in creating your very own Surfer Hippo with his surfboard and swimming tire. Perfect for both beginners and experienced crocheters.

Hugo makes a super cute gift for surfers, beach lovers, or anyone who enjoys fun crochet amigurumis.
