This website collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The current anti-spam service is operated by Automattic Inc. (Akismet Anti-Spam), a US plug-in provider. I do not have any influence nor access to the data sent to and stored by Automattic Inc.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that WordPress can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Contact forms

The contact form of this website stores your name, email address and IP address, which is used to get back to your contact request. All those information are deleted as soon as your contact request is fulfilled.

Additionally, the contents from the contact forms are being checked through the automated spam detection service provided by Automattic Inc. (Akismet Anti-Spam).


If you leave a comment on this site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you subscribe to the website (Follow posts via Mail) your email address is being collected and stored by WordPress and SpecificFeeds. Each time you receive a follow-up post, you have the possibility to unsubscribe which automatically deletes your email address from those providers.

Provided that the data transfer is required for any of the purposes mentioned in section 3 (Categories of data processed…), your personal data is being transferred to external IT services, including Automattic Inc. (US).

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me.
