Sumsi, the cute Crochet Bee

Summer is buzzing in, and where flowers bloom, the bees are not far behind. After a long winter, they are now happily sitting on the flowerbeds, filling their bellies with nectar and pollen, and soaking up the sunshine. Just like this little one: Sumsi, the crochet bee.

With this crochet pattern, you can make your own crochet bee in just a few steps, complete with mini stingers, an (optional) smile and big eyes. With its thin little legs, it will expertly hang on your plants by the windowsill, in the garden, or on the terrace and make you smile everytime you see it.

  • Required materials: medium velvet and wool yarn, superfine cotton yarn, crochet hooks size 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm, fiberfill, 7 mm safety eyes, tapestry needle, scissors.
